How do I change the oil on my yamaha V Star 650 custom? Need to know how hard is it to change the oil and spark plugs on my V Star 650 custom.

Changing the plugs is easy enough. The plastic pieces on top of the cylinders are spark plug covers. Pull the cover off, and remove cap. Remove plug with plug wrench. Repeat on other side.

Changing the oil is a little more complicated than most bikes cause the oil filter is internal, and requires removing the front exhaust pipe. Check out this guy’s videos for step by step instruction.
