How do I suppress noise in my Harley Davidson motorcycle cb radio?
I have a 2000 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic with built in CB radio. It’s very quiet with the engine off. When I start the motor I get a wining noise. How can I suppress some of that noise?

check grounds – its picking up the motor noise

You can put an RF-gain filter on the power line. You may need resistor spark plugs to stop the hiss sound.

You can buy a filter that goes between the CB and the coax to filter out ignition and alt. noise. Try the Harley dealer or Radio shack. good luck
