How do you know if your ride scooters (Vespa) on the highway / motorway can? Weight and speed are factors?
I am looking at buying a Vespa scooter and want to drive in a position to freeways and highways. The scooter that I look for when buying tops out at 70 mph. Is that fast enough for the highway / freeway? If the weight is also a factor in trying to determine the readiness of your vehicle road? Thanks in advance.

there are two laws that define use highway .. they are the minimum speed is 45 miles per hour .. the next is that we keep pace with the traffic flow is usually around 65 or 70 miles per hour .. If your Vespa can keep those types of speeds you should certainly be good to go .. But an experienced motorcycle rider’s perspective, if you ride all you need are small 500% more alert of your environment, then the average driver. So many people are not aware, you are on the streets with them .. Drive Safe ..

It must be able to go over 30 (40 in some countries) are submitted to the MPH highway. But something rated highway also means that you must have a valid driver’s license and possibly a motorcycle license to drive it. Some states prohibit certain types of 2-wheeled vehicles from the highways … Check with your state’s Department of Motor Vehicles website, most of them have the qualifications required for scooters / mopeds.
