S & S 89 CI engine kit for Sportster?
Has anyone out there changed their Harley Davidson 883 (53ci) sportster into a 89Ci Sportster with S & S engine build kit, including the cases? I have all the parts and would like some advice and tips on building this engine aufstehen.Dank

S & S cases, used old iron Sportster engines, tops bored of case, welded, where necessary, plug into his head drilled, it could bolt move out. Ran these motors for drag strip and Bonneville several years. Had a few words with them. Then came the Kaw Z1! Best advice I can give is read, and understand the instructions. Then she read another time or two. When you are done reading, if you do not understand something, you can contact me and I will try to help. Tell me the year model you have, and I will walk you through. I have many years made motorcycle machine shop experience have steel cylinders, chrome Molly Stroker flywheels, as amended cases and heads for drilling, etc, a lot of work, the original iron Sporty from 3 pieces in the bore, stroke 3 13/16 to 3 08/03 bore 5 in tact.
