Upgraded brakes, better suspension, almost respectable horse and torque numbers. All for only 12k. is Harley trying to inch their zealots into the new millenium? Will they resist? It looks like an antique, so that’s good enough, right?

I think you should show it off by riding it around, not posting fake questions.

It’s hopefully a step in the right direction. I tried out the XR1200R, and the suspension was really not suited to aggressive cornering. Harley will probably never convert the “zealots”, but they may attract some younger riders, and that’s what they are sorely lacking.
I’ll stick to my Buells, though. The XB9S Lightning is the most enjoyable bike I’ve owned, and I have done everything from touring to track days with the 2 that I own. Those would be big shoes for an H-D model to fill, but one can only hope!

Edit 1: I test rode a 2010 model. I wasn’t aware of any changes made to the 2011 model.
Edit 2: Here’s betting that “Motocross916″ has never ridden a Harley of any description!
