Vespa owners, would you consider your scooter reliable?
Looking to get a vintage looking but new vespa scooter such as the VESPA LXV 150.
Are vespa’s reliable? I might drive them in the highways sometimes or maybe even go on a 2 hour road trip in the highway with the vespa.
1) Are they reliable and how has your vespa treated you?
2) How do they fair in the rain?

Vespa’s been around a long time.Back in 1973 an old friend loaded his Vespa with camping gear and his wife and rode it to Toronto from Winnipeg and back(2800mi round trip).

The 150 is a little small for highway / extended trips. I’d recommend at least the 250GT
for the better highway speeds ect.
All in all they hold together well , my only complaint is the small tires do not hold up well compared to my 16″ on my Aprilia I’m getting under 5k on my Vespa rear , versus 18K on my Aprlia
They are OK in rain , better with the optional windscreen
