What Harley Davidson motorcycle is best suited for a large, heavy man? I do not know Harley’s very good and I am planning a motorcycle trip across the country and back. The old Gold Wing is a good bike, but I want to do it on a Harley. In 6 ’5 “and 350 lbs. I need a big bike.

Harleys have the Mercedes-Benz world of motorcycle. They used to be OK, but now they are just over priced, reliable bikes in Yuppies who live to do some bad-boy biker fantasy are sold. Stick with your Japanese bikes. You can some pretty hefty 1100 + cc Japanese motorcycles that look like choppers and cost less, while more reliable. Harleys have all brand and Americana to go along with them, but they are not very good on all bikes. They are good AMERICAN bikes, Japanese bikes but still beat them. (Cue all pissed off yuppie Harley riders who want to send me hate mail for pointing hand.)
