What should I expect from the DMV when I registrar a custom motorcycle?

What should I expect from the DMV when I registrar a custom motorcycle? – I am a welding student. And I am thinking of building a reverse trike. But I am not sure about the requirements to get it road legal in Florida. How critical is the DMV and If I want to build more than a one off, but a series of frames and possibly the full bike.

dont know about your state but here in Az you just need the manufacturers statement of origin,if you build your own frame than you simply need the receipts from your materials.And then they will issue a special construction title.

You will have to speak with the DMV. Some states require a custom (with MSO and paperwork for motor) to be finished (down to paint) before they will even stamp a number on it.

Each state is different.
