Will Marvel Mystery oil to keep ethanol from gumming up the carburetor for Yamaha motorcycle?
After sitting for a week, would start biking, but are not elaborated. Dealer says, because of California emissions and ethanol, which is also still a problem for me. The options were 1) If horse riding, bicycle keep upright and turn to fuel line and allow gas to burn carbohydrates and fuel lines. Add half stregnth stabilizer when not riding for a week or more. And 2) Go outside and start cycling and for 10 minutes or so to run, or take it around the block a few times. Do this every other day. Neither option is appropriate. I’m a busy weekend with a driver’s weekly schedule. If Marvel Mystery oil or other additive help in my situation? If so, how much for 4.2 gallon tank? Appreciate any help. thanks appreciate your answers, but personal opinions about whether I ride are not suitable. I stay with my meticulous rides and am more than willing to perform the proper maintenance. I was just looking for a simpler solution to this situation. June

Forget the mystery oil. The fuel stabilizer would be a far better choice than recommended by your dealer. Why do you think that is not appropriate? Your dealer is correct in his recommendation. Option 1 is the least time consuming. You should consider off the fuel tap as you carb the last few hundred yards or so take the (s) and fuel lines, rather than waiting until it is empty at the end of a journey you leer.Wenn too busy to consult the dealer you’re probably too busy to deal with the ownership of a bicycle.

Run is the fuel from the fuel lines and ETOH carberator.Wenn a problem, your fuel moisture from the atmosphere in your carberator or cleaning water from your tank. EtOH and water in some gasoline blends can turn into a jelly mass. Try to buy small quantities of gas dryers provide a car if you are the engine warm and running wird.Marvel mystery oil and fuel stabilizers (octane / RVP Enhancer) oils, oil and water do not mix and will not resolve a water problem. response from 572ci. stabilize
Marvel is ….. for a short time, but do not soak up water, isopropyl alcohol (91% at best) or fuel dryer helo in small cans with water.
